A taste of summer events and activities in the beautiful Italian Alpine resort of Sauze d’Oulx, Piemonte, Italy. Produced for the ski & summer resort’s town council (Comune of Sauze d’Oulx) as part of a programme to increase all-year-round tourism to the resort.

Happy Sauze d’Oulx

As part of Pharrell Williams support of the United Nations International Day of Happiness 2014, it was decided to shoot a Happy video in Sauze d’Oulx at the end of the season when the people who run the businesses were available. Involving over 100 people including a producer (and fixer), the video was shot over 5 days in April. Editing and grading were finished in May in time for a community & town council launch event in early June.

Exmoor Beast Cycling Challenge

Mid Devon, Somerset and Exmoor

One of the toughest sportives of the season, The Exmoor Beast (starting in the Devon town of Tiverton), takes riders up both the pleasantly rolling and leg-burning hills of Exmoor in Somerset. Beautiful scenery is thrown in for free as is the obligatory dose of unpredictable and sometimes seemingly vindictive West Country autumnal weather.
